Idiot Test

How smart are you? http://www.colinschoen.com/ came up with their version of the "Idiot Test" about a month ago. Just a couple days ago I interviewed the owner of the website about the game. Colin was happy to answer all my questions.

iGamerz: How did you get the idea to create the Idiot Test?

Colin: I found that I liked the original Idiot Test and thought that I could introduce other people to this great game.

iGamerz: How many questions does the Idiot Test have.

Colin: There are seven tricky questions.

iGamerz: For beginner gamers, how would you rate the difficulty of this game.

Colin: On a one to ten scale, as ten the hardest and one the easiest, I would rate it an eight and a half.

iGamerz: Do you have any plans for upcoming games.

VMK(virtual magic kingdom) is another entertaining online game. In this game you create a character and explore the Magic Kingdom. Fifa 08

Fifa 08 is the newest(and my favorite) soccer game out there. The graphics on this game are amazing!! When you are playing a game and hit the pause button, it will show you the highlights behind the pause menu. This game also features multiplayer so you can play against you're friends. If I where to rate this game I would give it a ten out of ten. If you are having some trouble here are some tips.

1. to change to you're keeper in the middle of a play hit the left analog stick down(that is for ps2 controlls)

2. be careful when sliding someone from behind because nine out of ten times you will be called for it.

From Russia With Love

From Russia With Love is a great third person Bond game. You play as James Bond as you run, jump, and roll through the story mode. This game also has a great multiplayer feature(the only down side is that you can not play on the same team like you can in Nightfire) but the great levels that you can play in make up for that. Also in multiplayer you can fly in a jetpack, shoot from a turret, and drive vehicles. If I where to rate this game I would give it a nine out of ten. If you are having trouble playing this game here are some tips.

1. taking wall cover will give you great cover from enemies

2. sometimes you will encounter enemies that have radios to radio for backup, use the Bond focus mode to shoot the radio

3. the bosh shotgun is a great gun for close range(it is a one kill if you hit a guy under five feet away)

Guitar Hero Two Wireless Guitars

Getting a wireless guitar for Guitar Hero Two is a good idea but here are some tips to getting them.

1. Never, never, never, never, never, get the React Reaper Guitar for ps2. I returned three of those(the connection is soooo bad) and it is so frustrating. They may look cool but that has got to be the worst quality I've ever seen.

2. Some guitars such as the Legacy Guitar(you can buy this guitar at Best Buy) come with two foot pedals(one for star power and one for whammy)

Also when buying a wireless guitar look at the size and shape of the guitars because some are smaller and bigger than others. But once again DO NOT GET THE REAPER GUITAR FOR PLAYSTATION TWO.

Guitar Hero Two

Guitar Hero Two allows you to rock out in your own living room. In this game you play with a fake guitar(you can play with a regular controller but that pretty much ruins the purpose of this game) that has color coded buttons that you push as notes. This game is all about timing so it isn't easy at first. In the career mode you tour the world playing songs that were big in the 80s. You earn money for playing in gigs and can also get sponsored. If I were to rate this game I would give it a ten out of ten. If you are having trouble with this game here are some tips.

1. use the whammy to earn extra points on notes

2. in cooperative mode both players need to raise their guitars vertically to get star power

You can usually buy guitar hero with a wire guitar but if you want to really rock out with out a cord getting in your way try getting a wireless guitar. For more information on Guitar Hero Two go to www.whatsupwithcolin.blogspot.com.

Club Penguin

Club Penguin is a fun online game. You get to make your own penguin and talk with others on this fun online world. You can buy a puffle(that's a pet in club penguin) and if you're a member you can buy furniture and other cool things for your igloo. Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2

If you would like to play a fun BMX game, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX 2 might be a good choice. In this game you can travel to eight levels that have real live cars, pedestrians, helicopters and lots of other cool things. This game also has a feature where you can create your own level. If I were to rate this game, I would give it a seven out of ten. If you're having some trouble with this game, here are some cheats to help you out.

1. go to the press start screen, and enter this code quickly to unlock every level in every mode, except in roadtrip: square, right, right, triangle, down, square.(note: i have not tested these cheats)

2. to unlock these outfits go to the press start screen and enter these codes quickly:

Elvis: circle, L1, L1, up, up,

BMX: circle, triangle, left, right, left, circle,(note: i have not tested these cheats)

Sorry but I only have those cheats for ps2. Enjoy!!

ATV Offroad Fury 3

ATV Offroad Fury 3 displays some serious quading. In this game you can perform realistic tricks of crazy high jumps. You can race against your friends or just have fun exploring a level. Offroad Fury 3 also has a feature where you can paint your quad whatever colors you like. If I were to rate this game I would give it a nine out of ten. If you're having trouble with this game here are some tips.

1. right before a jump hold the wheel(reffering to the left wheel on the ps2) down and then as are right at the top of the jump thrust the wheel up, you'll get much higher.

2. try not to do the same trick in a row, each time you do it again and again you won't get as much points for it.

Shrek 2

Shrek's back with a new video game, Shrek 2. In this game you can travel with Shrek, Donkey, Fiona, and much more characters. This game allows you to play with up to four players and travel through cool locations. If I where to rate this game I would give it a seven out of ten. This game can be complicated and here are some tips if you get stuck.

1. how to defeat the trolls: kick, hit,(or in Shrek's case throw) the explosives back at the trolls. Therefore it will blow up right next to them.

2. donkey can power kick, use that to knock down trees or other objects.

Tony Hawk's Underground

Tony Hawk's Underground is another great skateboarding game. In the storymode you're just a regular kid who likes to skate. You work you're way up from getting sponcered to turning pro. You also meet pros along the way such as Tony Hawk, Eric Koston, and Paul Rodriguez. If you get tired of playing story mode you can play split screen with a friend and play games like horse and graffiti. If I were to rate this game I would give it an eight out of ten. Here are some hints and tips if you're having a hard time with the storymode.

1. to find the hidden tape on the first level go to the left of the bridge by the water. then turn right and go under the bridge, you will see the tape there.

2. keep your combos going by doing manuals and run-outs.

007 Nightfire

If you like James Bond, you'll like this game. You play as James Bond. Your mission is to stop Drake from destroying earth. You get an array of disguised gadgets such as a watch(which is a laser), car keys( which actually a taser), and a lighter( which is actually a small digital camera). You can play with a friend in split screen mode where you can be on the Phoenix side(Drake's side) or the MI6 side. There are also a lot of other multiplayer games. A cool thing about this game is that there are five different levels where you get to drive a vehicle, from Bond's Aston Martin to a plane. If I were to rate this game I would give it a eight out of ten. Here are some tips to this game.

1. when you are supposed to be covert, it is a good idea to put a silencer on your pistol(this can only be done on the pistol you start out with)

2. the remote mine can be activated by hitting the square button(again I am reffering to ps2) and then the fire button to blow it up. The remote mine can stick to walls and pretty much all surfaces.

Madden 06

If you like watching and playing football, I would take a look at this game. Madden 06 may not be the most recent NFL football game but I think it's one of the best. Madden 06 let's you use the QB vision. You can use the QB vision by before or in the middle of a pass play hold R2(I have a ps2 so i'm reffering to that.) and then click a reciever button. You'll see a stream of light look over at the guy if you do it right. That means that you're QB is looking at the reciever. Therefore when you throw the ball the pass will be better because you're looking right at the guy. If I were to rate this game I would give it a ten out of ten. If you're having any trouble with this game, here are some tips to help you out.

1. when you are in the redzone(redzone pretty much means that you're close to the endzone) use goal line plays.

2. if you can see a full on blitz coming before the play, trying sending your running back out to the side. then throw to him.

Lego Star Wars

Hey all you Star Wars fans. This is your game. You can be all the characters from the movie and fight real enemies. They're is also a level where you can fly a space craft! You can use the force to move objects around and lift up enemies and throw them. If I were to rate this game i would give it a six out of ten. Here's some hints and tips that may help you.

1. you can fool droids by changing your character to a droid, they're always loyal to their on kind.

2. if you see a red circle, that is a grapple spot. characters who carry guns are the only people who can grapple(note: that does not include droids)Enjoy!!!

Greg Hasting's Tournament Paintball

This game is great for all people who like paintball. I have never actually played real paintball but I do like this game. In this game you form a team and play tournaments with your friends or by yourself. You can use you're earnings to buy paintball guns, barrels, uniforms, and other stuff. This game also has a feature where you can create you're own paintball arena. If you're having a hard time playing this game, I may have a couple tips to help you out.

1. you can use turbo to run fast.

2. when you get shot, you can CHEAT!!! If you hit the green in your cheat meter you can wipe the paint off. (note: you can not cheat if you get hit in the mask)

If I were to rate this game, I would give it a six or seven.

Tony Hawk's Project 8

This is one of the newest skateboarding games and this game has great graphics. The storymode is that you are trying to get on to Tony Hawk's new skate team. If you like to play with your friends they have great split screen action. If I were to rate this game i would give it a nine out of ten. I also have some tips for you if you're having trouble.

1. try to do all of the pro's challenges, you get the pro in 2 player if you complete his challenge

2. you can get coins by impressing onlookers, use those coins to purchase new boards wheels and more.

Midnight Club 2

If you're looking for some racing adventure, I would say that Midnight Club 2 would be a good choice. In Midnight Club 2 you, a street racer, race other people to be the best out there. When you beat an opponent you get their car and sometimes unlock stuff like nitros, weight transfers and other things that will help you make it to the top. If I were to rate this game, I would give it an eight. If you're having some trouble, try this cheat that will unlock everything(rimbuk)

Dolphin Olympics 2

Dolphin Olympics 2 may not be the most high tech game out there for your computer but it sure is a fun one. Pretty much you're just trying to get points by having your dolphin flip, tailslide, starslide and all other kinds of things. Once you get pretty high you can reach the moon, mars, nebulous, and much more planets and galaxies. You can reach Dolphin Olympics 2 by going to http://www.rawkins.com/. I also have some tips.

1. starsliding gives you a lot of points.

2. focus on making perfect landings, if you belly flop you lose all of your speed.
